You can barely see the mint tank under the sheer blouse in these pictures, but in person I love how you can see a hint of mint through the cream blouse. I previously wore this outfit back in March with a cream sweater over the mint tank. Since the sweater was cropped, the tank was visible at the bottom and color blocked the outfit for a more fun look. I enjoy both versions; and replacing a wide knit or cropped sweater with a sheer blouse is a great way to transition from late winter to early/late spring or fun to more sophisticated.
I also love how this purple wall we found in Noda doubled as a great background to make this pastel outfit stand out. The purple gives a great monochromatic color scheme when paired with my pants...which, along with pastel, has been a trend in the past year.
